Benefits of Investing in Water and Sanitation

Investment in water supply and sanitation services generates a number of economic, environmental and social benefits. These benefits remain insufficiently documented, however, resulting in low political priority for water issues and sub-optimal levels of investment in water infrastructure. This report, prepared for the OECD, draws together existing information on the benefits of investing in water and sanitation services in a format that is informative for policy-makers.
