  • [View]
Finninov conference

At Finninov, a major conference on financial innovations for development organised by the World Bank, the Agence Francaise de Developpement and the Gates Foundation, Sophie took part to a panel on innovative financing for infrastructure. She argued that scale is a key constraint for financing the water sector. Addressing such constraint calls for setting up financial mechanisms at domestic level, able to mobilize funds from a variety of resources (aid money as well as untapped domestic private capital).
