Decentralised cooperation for sanitation

Sophie presented the results of the recent WSP study on the financing of on-site sanitation at a meeting organised by ENGEES, a prestigious engineering school in Strasbourg and IRCOD, an institute based in Alsace to assist local governments based in that French region with the design and implementation of their decentralised cooperation projects. At the occasion of ENGEES's 50th birthday and in the context of world Water Day, the two institutions decided to focus on sanitation to attract local government's attention on the needs and potential for decentralised cooperation in that sector.
